Comma separated ACSII files containing point coordinates are the simplest and most compact formats for coordinate data, and provides a universal medium for the exchange of data with a number of applications, survey instruments and other devices, both input and output. Using the Point.ByCoordinatesFromExternalFile node, GenerativeComponents uses this data to build a point node consisting of a list of points, where the sequence of lines in the ASCII file corresponds to the index of each point in the resultant list.
